Step 2: Log in to your Wise account

Visit the Wise.com website and log in to your account using your email address and password or your Google/Facebook/Apple login.

Step 3: Access the Balances section

After logging in, navigate to the “Balances” tab on your account dashboard. This is where you will manage your multi-currency account.

Step 4: Open a balance in a new currency

Click the “Open a balance” button and choose the currency you wish to add from the dropdown menu. Wise supports over 50 currencies, including popular options such as USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD. Repeat this process for each currency you want to add to your multi-currency account.

Step 5: Review your account details for each currency

Once you’ve opened a balance for a specific currency, click on that currency in the “Balances” tab. You will find your unique account details, such as account number, routing number, IBAN, or SWIFT code, depending on the currency and your location. These account details can be used to receive money in the respective currency from anywhere in the world.

Step 6: Add money to your multi-currency account (optional)

If you’d like to add funds to a specific currency balance, click on the “Add” button next to the currency in the “Balances” tab. Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer funds from your bank account, debit card, or credit card. Note that fees and processing times may vary depending on your location and the payment method used.

Step 7: Exchange currencies within your multi-currency account (optional)

To exchange funds between your different currency balances, click the “Convert” button next to the currency you want to exchange. Select the target currency and enter the amount you wish to convert. Review the conversion details, including the exchange rate and any fees, before confirming the transaction.

Congratulations! You have successfully set up a Wise multi-currency account. Now you can easily manage multiple currencies, receive international payments, and make cost-effective currency conversions.
